Module 4 Reflection

    In module 4, I first spent some time going through all of the ISTE standards for students. The standards for students were designed to help prepare them to "thrive in an evolving technological landscape" and to "empower student voice and ensure the learning is a student-driven process." As I went through each standard and watched the videos I was impressed and excited to see how other educators are using technology in their classrooms and how the students are driving the learning process. It really challenged me to think how I can help my students to think critically, problem solve, and use technology in a way that helps prepare them for this technological world that they are growing up in. I'm limited in the type of technology my students have access to, but one thing I've learned from this class is that there are ways I could be using it that I had not previously thought of. Module 3 Reflection

    I started off this module learning about Cloud Computing. This is a topic that I felt I was already familiar with because I've been using Google Drive for work for many years. One benefit of cloud computing that I appreciate is the ability to collaborate with my grade level team. We have many shared planning documents, resource folders, data sheets, and google slide presentations just to name a few of the things we all store on the cloud. My school also stores many of the resources teachers need to access daily and weekly on Google Drive, such supply order forms, IEP snapshots, our weekly bulletins etc. I also appreciate that I can access the documents stored on the cloud from any of my devices. There have been a few instances where I have forgotten to do something but I'm not near my work computer, and I was able to access what I needed through the app on my phone.      Next, I explored how to use and create QR codes and Infographics.
